Summer camp in Morocco, for young people interested in Africa

As every year since 1974 a group of young people interested in Africa has spent part of their holidays in the North of Morocco.

The aim of the group is to live an experience in a Muslim country, to get to know better the culture and the religion of the Arab population, while deepening their Christian faith and offering their services to some Arab children who need help in their studies, serving handicapped persons in a home kept by the Grey Brothers, and enjoying the hospitality of the Moroccan people.

These visits to the families, the contacts with young Moroccans helps them to broaden their vision and to recognize the values of another culture and another religion.

Many of the young people who have lived the experience of these camps get involved with migrants and other "outsiders" when they go back to their own country.
