FORMATION TO BECOME MSOLA

poland_post

Kamila (left) and Iwona from Poland
have received the cross of postulants.

Formation is the task of a lifetime.
It is at the service of life and of
the MISSION.

INITIAL FORMATION OF A MSOLA

1) After a period of getting to know one another, the MSOLA receive the candidate in community.

2) She spends 18 months in a community for an initiation to the religious apostolic life of the MSOLA. The last 5 months are dedicated to the study and preparation to the novitiate.

3) The principal stage of formation is the
International Novitiate in Africa. This is a time of prayer and contemplation, for getting to know the MSOLA charism more deeply, and for discerning in view of a commitment with vows..

4) Six years of temporary vows in a committed community with an apostolate in Africa, enable the young sister to take root and to progressively identify as a MSOLA.

5) A theological formation (and if necessary, professional), is an essential element in the formation of a MSOLA.

6) The Juniorate is a stage in the formation that prepares the young professed sister for perpetual vows.

The formation of a MSOLA
changes from time to time
to adapt its content and style
to the apostolic priorities
of the congregation and
to the need for integral growth.

The formation is done mainly
in AFRICA, because it is there
that MSOLA spend most of their life.

Our groups are international and
intercultural.
