MSOLA LAY AFFILIATES

If you have Africa at heart, you can become a MSOLA Lay Affiliate.
a

They are persons (men and women) who desire to participate
and to share in the mission of the MSOLA,
living in their daily
life the missionary charism of Lavigerie,
through prayer,
through their commitment to build a society according to
God's plan. They can also put their time and their
"know-how" at the service of the MSOLA mission,
and to Africa.

In the different countries the structures of these groups
are different, with a great variety of possibilities of commitment.

Meet some of the MSOLA lay affiliates:

A retired nurse at the service of the African in Madrid

Alejandra is a Lay Affiliate of the MSOLA from Spain. For many yeast she has worked as a nurse in the biggest Spanish
hospital hospital in Madrid "LA PAZ". But for her, like for so many other missionaries, "retirement" means to dedicate
their life to the mission she has always carried in her heart: Africa.

She collaborates as voluntary in " KARIBU" a center to welcome African immigrants arriving to Spain. She
accompanies women to the doctor, to hospital, to get the papers they need to be accepted in the country.
She employs a person at a time and forms her so that she can find easily work once
her practical formation is finished.
